Meet the Editor


My name is Kylie. I am a twelve-year-old homeschooled girl who loves Jesus and wants to make loving him the center of my life. I’ve been a Christian for 9 years, and although the road is tough, I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I am a very avid fan of the Chronicles of Narnia, and also C.S. Lewis, because of the tremendous allegory in the series. I’ve been homeschooled all my life and absolutely love it! I love to write, mostly fictional stories, and I especially love it when I write with my friends. I am hoping to be published eventually, perhaps in Christian magazines, and my dream is to get at least one book published.

I love to read, especially Christian fantasy and historical fiction ~ any book with a great plot, really! I love the pioneer, colonial, and renaissance eras, and bonnets, aprons, and medieval dresses & capes all have a place in my world. I consider myself an “old-fashioned” girl since those sorts of things appeal to me. I also enjoy photography, knitting, crocheting, jewelry making, sewing, HTML, learning to experiment with graphics, and also fiddling around on my acoustic Fender guitar that the Lord blessed me with.

My desire for KOF is to encourage kids in their walk for God and set them on fire for Jesus!
